How did it go Chuck? I've just been swamped here adjusting to the all of the down turn issues.

I missed you. We had a lot of fun, completed 3 laps out of four. I decided to give it up at the end of 3 laps because we had 3 hrs to finish the last lap. The laps were taking 3.5 to 4.5 hrs. We had no spares left as we went through 5 in the first 3 laps. We might of had time to finish the last lap if Jason had not run out of gas about 4 miles from start/finish. We had no radio com and by the time he got a ride back to the pit and we got gas to the racer it was too late. Pike came through and started his last lap about 40 min. before Jason got the racer back to the pit and he finished 9 mins too late. Anyway the racer had no mechanical problems and we learned some more about racing.

Pike also ran out of gas so I don't feel so bad about that. The coarse was tuff. At one point I got pushed off the coarse by a TT, no warning, no horn, no bump. When I saw him coming I turned right to get out of the way, he hit me when I was at a 45 degree angle to the coarse and almost flipped me. Another time I got over and was passed but the guys RR tire clipped my LF and tore the fiberglass up a little on the LF corner. That was an accident or mis-judgement, the first guy was an asshole. I ended up with a flat and the tire rack was so bent that I had to use the jack handle to get the spare out.

Just taking it as it comes at the moment Chuck. I didn't even make reservations for SOB this year. Not sure what we will be doing.
We have thought about making the race over the 4th of July in Jack Pot NV. I think it is a BORE race. It's only about 180 miles from the where the racer is in Idaho and pretty resonable. Other than that, depends on $$ available.
