We'll need to get a full roster update on here..but I'm happy to announce that we have just gotten the committment from one of the most successful all-time MX 4x4 drivers to be one of ours. Mikey Keith..long time Mountaineer Prototypes race driver has enthusiastically agreed to be one of our Baja drivers, Considering that Mike has been my nemesis for 7 years plus and consistently whuuped my arse in the process..I freely..and gladly welcome Mike aboard as a 'better driver than me'.

I should also mention that the Mountaineer and Team Trick Trucks racing teams were merged this past year..but that did little to affect competition between the two.. :D

Mike has been campaigning a 'Ranger' with a fully custom hydraulically adjustable chassis..mid engine cleveland..yadda yadda ..for as long as I've known him. Johnny may think I'm slow..and he's prolly right..but Mike is not. (unless he rolls..which is often..which is when/how I've ever beaten him..we'll be having a heart-to-heart about not carrying that habit over... ;)

I'm looking..I have a video clip but I can't find any good pics at the moment. Bodatious race track wiped out their prior-year photo archives for some reason; there used to be a lot of pics in there. Here is a video clip of his brother's rig in action..the two are very similar (drivers..and trucks..)

But of course..we're getting our chit ready for this year's season too. First 2-day race event is in April I believe..west of Richmond about 50 miles or so. the schedule is not out yet, but I'll make sure you know.

I feel your pain Johnny, in my case to far south and always on a weekend my wife is working and I have to watch the 3 kids.

I threw a few wrenchs at clearing shop space at the last meeting......that project probably sits where I left it too.....

There's one scheduled in Baja Nov 10-17! Might be a little to far west though.

For me it is all about racing. Racing on a level playing field is important to me. I will tell you anything I can about what I had done and what did or did not work for me. I will also encourage you to use as many parts that are the same as Dan and I use as possible so we can share parts.
